Text Box: S K Chan has 40 years of working experience.  He began his industrial experience as a manufacturing supervisor in a high-tech American MNC in 1972.  He progressively moved into production planning, marketing services, logistics and regional roles.  He also worked for other MNCs in the telecom equipment, electronics and specialty chemicals sectors in various regional management roles interacting with people from various countries and cultures.
He was working in China from 2002 to 2006 in a management role in a US$100M SME electronics factory.  During his tenure, he contributed to the productivity and people development activities that resulted in 5 times of output while the headcount was increased by 2 times.
His forte is in the pragmatic application of the principles of logistics and supply chain management to optimize the supply chain of a business enterprise to achieve positive impact on working capital and competitive edge.  He started to specialize and focus on logistics since 1992 when logistics became the last frontier for business process improvement.
 
 
 

Text Box: Ruth has over 30 years experience in Process Improvements in varied industrial sectors including manufacturing, service and local government. After 10 years of experience in the UK working as an in-house consultant, Ruth moved to Singapore and spent 10 years as a consultant in the field of Quality Management. As a certified consultant under the Juran Institute, she assisted many organisations develop their TQM programmes including Shell (in Sarawak, Malaysia and Singapore), Kodak, Exxon Mobil etc. She also consulted organisations implementing Quality Management Systems for certification to ISO 9000. 

Subsequently Ruth, as Director of Operations, developed the internal procedures, training programmes and integrated software systems for Amrep Vendor Inspection Services, a Singapore company providing Supplier Management Services, with offices throughout Asia, US and Mexico. She conducted supplier audits on behalf of customers to develop the appropriate level of 3rd party service to ensure the development of the supplier to meet customer requirements.
Ruth’s focus is assisting Small and Medium Enterprises to ensure that all aspects of the business is conducted effectively and efficiently with focus on simple documentation to provide consistency at all levels.

Text Box: Paul has over thirty years of accomplishments in a variety of senior management roles, including eighteen years international experience in the Asia Pacific Rim in machining, semiconductors, commercial and military electronics, and ten years with an international consulting firm accelerating return on capital, cash flow and cost reduction. Companies ranged in size from “startup” to over a billion USD in sales.
His accomplishments include: working with a Plastics Molding and sub contract assembly company in Dongguan improving the mold “change over” process from 4 hours to 35 minutes, and eliminate 30% of labour  in lean assembly processes;  Reduced overhead costs of a Shenzhen factory by USD$250K and accelerated response to initial customer orders from 16 days to 5 days; More than doubled the productivity of the primary CNC machine driven manufacturing process in eight months, improved quality of outgoing product by 20%,  and restructured Sales process increasing Sales in Asia by 200% in 2005.
In Singapore, he has successfully implemented various programmes including completing an ERP system up grade on time, decreased Finished Goods Inventory by 50% while increasing “fill rate” from 60% to 95, designed a “Pull” Finished Goods Inventory Planning process that was implemented across 12 product lines negating the need for sales forecasts, and reduced manufacturing Cycle Time from 45 days to 10 days..

 

 

 

 

 

 

RolandText Box: Roland GOH has over 35 years of managerial working experience in MNCs like Hewlett-Packard, Texas Instruments, AMD, Delphi Automotive System, Thomson Multimedia, Agilent and Verigy. He was also involved in China’s human resources management for more than 20 years.  
He is a former Singapore Quality Award Assessor, and one of the four team leaders in the Singapore Government project in the Human Resources Software Transfer for the Suzhou-Singapore Industrial Park. 
He has hands-on experience in the following:
